The Teething of Tethering

Mark my words - tethering is the future.

The same way that we've gotten rid of our landline phones (or never had one in the first place) - we'll be getting rid of those landline Internet connections.

Why pay more for a single location connection when you can travel with your hotspot everywhere? I've heard more and more people stating that 4G is better than their current Internet service, and that the convenience of always on beats wifi any day.

The losers? Cable companies and startups that rushed in to fill the niche of wireless broadband.
